So we woke up on Sunday morning to a frickin' blizzard. WTF?!?!
After loading in all of our equipment, Vince goes out and scoops the sidewalk before going home for more preparations...well, his truck gets stuck.
By this point, we're all thinking we're screwed. We've got about 3-grand invested in this thing...and no one's gonna show up.
HA! Never under estimate the VLP crowd. The venue was decorated to the hilt, the sound and light show were immense, the band was in fine form, and more importantly, at least 200 of our closest friends braved the arctic tundra to take part in the baddest rock'n'roll New Year's Eve bash in town.
The band took off like a rocket at 9:30 and didn't look back. Soon the dance floor was filled with the spirit of the evening and by 1am, all the champaigne had been consumed and bodies were drenched in sweat from the frivolity.
Then...came the late show...
